Introduction To Mosaic (2 day course)The medium of Mosaic has intrigued people all over the world for thousands of years. On this course you will have the opportunity to come along and learn the ancient art of mosaic, producing your own mosaic for your home or garden.From a mosaic mirror to a stepping stone, you can make your own work of art in a creative and relaxed environment. The weekend will begin with an introduction to mosaic and related techiques, followed by the design, making and grouting of your mosaic, ready to take home! Your tutor, Claire Cotterill is an established mosaic artist with over 15 years of experience in creating mosaic installations in educational and environmental settings she also works privately to commission and has exhibited nationally.
