Fighting With Wire + ThisIsSinister

Mean Fiddler Proudly Present Fighting With Wire.

After putting out a number of limited edition DIY singles and appearing on numerous 'Public Service Broadcast' compilations, they began work on longawaited debut album 'Man Vs Monster' in late 2006. Recorded in Northern Ireland and finally completed in mid-2007, it was released on 10th March 2008 and became a favourite with BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe, calling it "phenomenal".
They have now also signed a deal with Atlantic Records.

Plus ThisIsSinister

Having all abused instruments in previous bands gone by, it seemed only fitting to do it all again. In early 2010 rooms were hibernated in/sweated in/ruined/existed in; until venues were then played/sweated in/ruined by noise. "The Ordinary Fear Of Everything" is the firstadventure in committing sound to high fidelity. The EP was recorded entirely in the bands lock up for the tidy sum of nothing at all. A slew of shows followed by begging, borrowing and stealing their way round the country saw the band take in supports with Cardiff-types Islet, confuse metal heads in Bath, and make a mess in Camden. If you ever wanted Hall & Oats to cover At The Drive-In then their newest offering "No Scene B18" requires you to listen up. Listen ye shall.
