BEN HOWARD

Fresh from the success of October's Sell-out tour and his debut album reaching the top ten, we are pleased to welcome back…
BEN HOWARD!!

Dark and alluring on tape, and creating a unique live story before the story's truly yet begun, Ben Howard is deserving of the acclaim as a captivating, unique and clever young British songwriter. 'Every Kingdom' is the debut album that Ben has been brewing for at least a couple of years. Its careful attention to detail, with tight, homespun harmonies and folk-informed arrangements, could only have been fully realised after relentless road-testing of these songs on stages across the UK and Europe.

"Chilling and alluring, Ben Howard's 'Every Kingdom' is an album full of promise." – Leeds Music Scene

"'Every Kingdom' is an almost universally appealing album – that is, it would be a challenge to find someone who wasn't seduced by Ben Howard's combination of diverse vocals, jazzily picked guitar lines, and ingenious grasp of rhythm." – This Is Fake DIY

DAUGHTER

Daughter is singer-songwriter Elena Tonra, growing up in a quiet part of north London in the 90's she spent her days listening to her parent's vinyl collections and older brother's rock CDs. It wasn't until later that she discovered the beauty of acoustic and folk inspired music and started to create stories and poems which formed the skeletons of her songs. Wearing clothes that old people may well have died in, and a bowl-cut the Beatles would be proud of, Elena tells tales of ghosts, drowning lovers and setting fire to her insides for fun. Elena's haunting voice and delicate guitar playing make her live performances spell-binding and often difficult to breathe. She talks about unrequited love, lost hope and death… in the prettiest way imaginable.
