Friday, New York City, Like a Virgin, ninety years, pop music. New York changed their musical styles, leaving the ballads of the success that both clubs have made the tracks with John Travolta and Olivia Newton John at Studio 54, Mecca of musical style, and entered the pop music with his "Diva" Madonna.

It is this scenario that one of the greatest successes of American TV in the late ninety years and prospered with him a cocktail which finally came into fashion. "The Cosmopolitan, a drink consecrated by Sarah Jessica Parker because of their apparent femininity, but at the same time with strength and determination to become an icon of modern cocktail, and it became one of the preferred compositions of modern women, without fear of take initiative to address a man so interesting when it should be subtle.

Strong and delicate, this mixture well to mix beauty, charm and glamor, but is differentiated from traditional cocktails like Bellini, Manhattan, Dry Martini, and many others have been known and appreciated, with a contemporary touch to traditional letters of drinks, always very repetitive and without much news.

Returning to the series, never dreamed that woman to identify with a character from Sex and the City? In each episode, Carrie Bradshaw, character lived by Sarah Jessica Parker, divides his cases and adventures with his three partners of confidences, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda. The series based on a book with the same name, Candace Bushnell, was originally broadcast by HBO channel between the years 1998 to 2004. The story has a background scene the night New Yorkers, and their roadmaps show the close relationship of these four friends, three of them at home for thirty years, and Samantha have their little forty years. Women modern, independent and aware of what they want and give you pleasure.

During the episodes, it is common to see Carrie drinking your Cosmopolitan. In fact, this is one of your favorite beverage, not only as a character in Sex and the City, but in the real world.

Its membership-based Citron vodka, Cointreau, Cranberry and Lemon juice, the drink turns into a Cosmopolitan mix. Hence perhaps, arose the idea of baptizing the drink with this name. This is one of the few cocktails with name and surname, because many prefer to ask only for "Cosmo" as they were a more caring of their lovers when asked for his favorite drink.

The vodka gives strength and nobility to send the drink. The Cointreau, with its citrus flavors of orange and lemon bring freshness, and to complete the Cranberry juice, the sweetness and beauty of his tone pink, almost purple, which serves as a great attraction, because we say that the visual has always first organ of sense to try a new mix and delight yourself with it. Finally, the perfect ending of the twist of burnt orange that reminds one slightly caramel flavor.

In recent years New York was literally invaded by Cosmopolitan cocktail. Pink, elegant, delicate, delicious and always leaving the taste to want more. In any bar in the city, the drink has become indispensable, and the Bartenders have become masters in their art of preparation.

Dale Groff its creator, began his career at The Charly, then went to the Hotel Bel-Air New York, until in 1987, began working on the legendary Rainbow Room, one of the most famous bar in Manhattan, located in the Rockefeller Plaza. It was there that he had the idea to add the liqueur and orange peel Flambo a mixture of vodka, the Cranberry and Lemon juice, creating a new version of an existing cocktail. Using one of the highest nature where nothing is created, everything is copied and becomes, in this case, was much better for the existing revenue.

But his final apotheosis happened when Madonna appeared drinking a Cosmopolitan and declared to be a fan of cocktail. After this his fame is spread worldwide and is finally joined the gallery of classic cocktails, and Dale was crucial to this change, becoming the creator of the well-deserved drink. Today, Cosmopolitan is appreciated not only by women who love their pink hue and aromas fresh, but also by men, as the drink kept the strength of vodka as its main ingredient, Dale philosophy.

In any case, in recent decades, the Cosmopolitan still reign as the largest absolute classic creation of the end of the last Millennium and still remains as the cocktail of fashion in the first decade of the new century.

LIKE MADONNA, THE COSMOPOLITAN COCKTAIL WAS BORN TO SHINE AND BE AN ETERNAL CLASSIC!
