Prepare yourselves for a rare treat with this collaboration ! deejay s BIO s and soundclouds Amy Banks Biog: Amy started dj-ing at 18 when she got her technics, and started playing in clubs soon after, playing house and speed garage all over birmingham for nights such as S.L.A.G, Hush and Genesis. She then went on holiday to Ibiza, and bumped into the promoter of Twice as Nice, who asked her to play for them. This lead to 4 summers playing all over ibiza for Twice as Nice, Pure Silk and La Cosa Nostra. After continuing in the garage scene, Amy had a 6 year break to go to uni in London. Realising she missed dj-ing, Amy made the switch to cds, was spotted by Chic, where she was made resident, and has now played for Pride, Beyond, House n Bass, Stikky Lips, Bassline Heaven, Silk City and many more. http://soundcloud.com/dj-amy-banks Becki de-Funk began DJ life 13 years ago mixing vinyl in bars & clubs on Technic 1210's... A self taught DJ hailing from Birmingham she pushed bar & club promoters to allow her to play their nights and they quickly could see her potential through her passion and drive. At the tender age of 21 Becki played for her favourite Birmingham club brand "Fuel" which in turn led to a 4 year residency - 9 years on she has regained her residency with Fuel and is back stronger than ever. Current residencies include Elevate, Miss Moneypenny's , Fuel VIP, IF @ Bushwackers, Funk Delux, The Prince Albert, Beyond @ Bambu, The Bell and regular appearances throughout Clubs in The Midlands and currently touring with Miss Moneypenny's as well as playing for the highly respected production of Heroes of House with the likes of Jeremy Healy, CJ Mackintosh and Alex P. Becki's music style is basically good, solid house music.... When house music was at its height a decade ago Becki was in the thick of it and this knowledge and experience is transferred through her love of Chunky, Vocal, Bass and Funky House sets.
