Band OF Skulls + Folks

KILIMANJARO LIVE Proudly Present Band Of Skulls

Band of Skulls is an alternative rock band that formed in 2008 in Southampton, England. It consists of Russel Marsden (guitar, vocals), Emma Richardson (bass, vocals), and Matt Hayward (drums), who formed a band after they all met in college.

Initially, they played at night clubs in the greater London area and recorded some demos under the name of Fleeing New York before changing their name to Band of Skulls in November 2008. Their debut album Baby Darling Dollface Honey, distributed by Shangri-La Music, was released exclusively on the iTunes Store on 6 March 2009, followed by a general release on 20 March. The track I Know What I Am was chosen as iTunes' free Single of the Week to coincide with the digital release.

Support comes from FOLKS

Folks are a six-piece band from the North-West of England who are set for big things. This year has seen them tour by personal request with indie heavyweights Noel Gallagher and Miles Kane, with Noel even asking the lads to perform two songs on Radio 2 when he sat in for Dermot O'Leary. Their debut single, 'Skull & Bones', was recently named Q Radio Single Of The Week, and is out now.
Their Debut single 'Skull & Bones' is out now, available through iTunes.

"Imagine Noel Gallagher producing Queens Of The Stoneage – It's psychedelic, heavy and has a chorus worth losing a leg for."- 10/10, The Daily Star
