Birmingham 8 piece Misty's Big Adventure are back with a new single taken from their current album 'The Family Amusement Centre'. 'Atonement' was recently one of Q's downloads of the month, who described it as an "unhinged, no holds barred, impossibly catchy mini-symphony that makes you wonder why Misty's have spent the last decade unnoticed."
It also features some of the best drumming you'll ever hear!

'General Confusion' is also taken from the album and features Sir Patrick Moore narrating a surreal tale of love and war. Two songs that could only be written by Grandmaster Gareth, the man John Peel once pronounced "The new God"!

Misty's will be performing at Bestival, Shambala and Nibley Festival this Summer, and tour the UK in the Autumn. They have toured with the likes of The Zutons, The Magic Numbers, The Guillemots, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip and Laura J Martin, and collaborated with Jeff Lewis, Broadcast, Kimya Dawson, Gruff Rhys, Noddy Holder and Dave Gorman. They recently played at a Dr Who leaving party at the request of Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill, who are big fans. They are to be artists-in-residence at Oxford University Astrophysics Department from July!

*******
The Dirty Old Folkers like to mix things up. They like a few Oxymorons (more on the morons side) and a bit of the old Juxtaposing (more like posing). They are a folk band (kind of), a comedy band (well maybe), and a political band (yes, sometimes).

It all gets pretty confusing doesn't it! Well fear not, they have Death and Panda with them at all times, to keep um on the straight and narrow….

Sound like fun? You bet.
