We believe we've found a band that will not only encapsulate the atmosphere of the Caribbean but will also give YOU a memorable night with laughs and smiles. Who are 1EYE The Band.... 1EYE are back with their exciting new Reggae sound. Taking influence from the likes of John Holt, Ken Boothe and The Heptones, their eagerly awaited second album 'Worries & Trouble' is guaranteed to rock the dance-floor! 1EYE are currently recording at their Birmingham studio with final production to be completed in Kingston, Jamaica. 1EYE have worked with some of the most respected names in the business. Alek (lead vocal) and his brother AndySax occasionally feature as Plan B's brass section and are in the official 'Love Goes Down' video as well as the recent Hewlett Packard HP Beats advert. They also feature as Russian gangsters in the recently released movie 'ill Manors', which was directed by Plan B. 1EYE 's first album 'Whiskey Business' enjoyed success with regular play on international radio and live support slots with Toots and the Maytals and Musical Youth. 1EYE have also supported UB40 and recently toured as official support for the legendary Jimmy Cliff on the UK leg of his world tour in May 2012 (search for '1EYE Jimmy Cliff' on YouTube for a video of their indigO2 show). The exciting new Reggae set with its sweet sounds and skanking licks will take you back to a 70's Kingston vibe.
