The new all Ska – and everything in-between – residency, will be the night to get some durable shoes out in order to withstand some hardcore skanking! This is a chance to see what Birmingham's fine music scene has to offer as well as creating a top night of entertainment at the best music venue in Moseley Village! This is the night you can see the intimate Bulls Head alive and kicking with the best of live SKA around… We're challenging the little Bulls Head to accommodating some mega bands for the night – 'I want all you skinheads to get up on your feet Put your braces together and your boots on your feet And give me some of that old moonstomping' We will also have some special drinks deals for the night because let's face it … most of us are skint after Christmas … anyway here's some nice things to read about our acts and if you really need to know, our special deals are listed at the bottom: SKAFINGER – A full-on 6 piece ska-evangelist group, based in Birmingham, playing Classic Ska, 2-Tone and adding their own unique twist to a few other Ska'd up numbers for good measure! So put on your tonic suits, DMs and braces, or just your favourite dancing shoes and join us for a skanking good time! THE PARADIMES – 7 piece 'old school' reggae and ska band, featuring a current member of the Specials, and using the traditional styles of the 60's and 70's reggae and ska legends in today's musical climate. They write their own material which has spanned over more than 10 years of playing together in different forms, and between them the band have played with the likes of Symarip, Musical Youth, Laurel Aitken and El Pussycat Ska. With offers to support John Holt and Lee 'Scratch' Perry since the band's formation in 2010, they are going from strength to strength, and have recently returned from gigs at London venues such as the 100 Club and Hootananny and Birmingham's PST after storming last year's Summer Sundae Weekender in Leicester, which was also played by one of their biggest influences, Toots and the Maytals. RUFF KUTS – Ruff Kuts are a Redditch based band mixing ska punk with politics.
